Republic of the Congo
Jean-Pierre and Virginia (Ginny) are serving in the Republic of the Congo. (This is not the Democratic Republic of Congo, or DRC, which is getting a lot of coverage in the media.) Presently Jean-Pierre is helping build the first Christian hospital in the Republic of Congo, heading up its chaplaincy as well as training pastors in a local Bible school. Ginny is helping in hospitality, teaching French to Pygmy pastors and evangelizing through teaching English. She also loves to pray with the patients at the hospital. A new priority and struggle is to learn the Lingala language to increase the effectiveness of all their ministries.
