Pulse Podcast 010: Delegating Authority

, , ,

You probably don’t know this, but Dan, our Leadership Catalyst, was the primary encourager behind the launch of the Pulse podcast. Without his energy and eagerness, we may not have had the momentum to turn the dream into a plan, or turn the plan into reality.

And now, here we are: Episode 10!

And we’re so glad that we were finally able to have Dan join us in front of the cameras.

We asked him to talk about delegating authority. Most of us are familiar with delegating responsibility. That is a task. But the more sophisticated the task, the more authority is required to pull it off.

In this edition, we begin to address the following questions:

  • So why delegate authority?
  • How?
  • To whom?
  • How much is too much? Or too little?

We hope you see this as the beginning of a conversation. If you’d like to take it further, get in touch with us.

We also offer a shorter preview version of this, which we hope you will use in your circles to invite people to take in the larger one:

Thanks for watching, and thanks for sharing!

150 Years!

Is it a birthday? Is it an anniversary? Whatever it is, we’re having a hard time remembering back that far for some reason.

It’s a good time to celebrate Canada, and share some of the things we appreciate about our country.

Pulse Podcast 008: What is the Gospel?

, , ,

Here we go, with episode 8! Neil and Bill examine some ideas and definitions of the gospel — a critical component of our Revitalize initiative. The goal here isn’t to arrive at a single, definitive statement. It’s to help us make sure that we’re thinking about the gospel in compatible terms.

New! Preview version!

See below for a preview of the podcast. We’d love it if you shared this at your church gathering, or small group where time is precious. It’s an invitation to the larger, ~20min session.
