One of my favourite things to read is missionaries’ first impressions. Here are a couple of short lines from Ed and Diana who have recently arrived in Bolivia:
“One thing that I’ve found really helps my prayer life here is riding in taxis. They are often in poor condition, don’t have seat belts, and are driven by guys who took their training at the Indy 500 School of Driving. Add that to three lanes of traffic in each two-lane road…”
“As for Santa Cruz, there is every good reason to invest finances and personnel here. This place, and most of Bolivia for that matter, is at a crossroads spiritually speaking, and anything accomplished here in these days will pay big dividends later on, I believe.”
Pray for Ed and Diana as they adjust to living in Bolivia, and begin to acclimatise to so much new.
