Introducing ‘Equip for Harvest’ – East!

, , ,

E4H stands for Equip for Harvest.

Equip for Harvest is designed as a learning experience for church planters, seminary students and potential church planting team members. But, our experience over the last 5 years has taught us that E4H training can also be very beneficial for pastors of established churches and their church leadership teams as well.

Through E4H, we want to help equip you and your team for sowing and reaping God’s harvest. To this end, we have designed our training into three sections.

Saturday includes an all-day stand-alone training experience for everyone, but is especially designed for pastors and leadership teams from established churches as well as church planters and students. This one-day training can be experienced as stand-alone training or participants can also register for the full five-day learning experience.

On Sunday, participants in the full five-day E4H share a guided church plant immersion experience in a new church service. This is followed in the evening by a group discussion of the shared learning experience in a church plant and one or two relevant training modules.

The E4H experience continues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning with subject modules that are designed to help the church planter move from the dream stage to the launch stage and first steps of a new church.

Both the Saturday-only E4H and the full five-day learning experience are designed so that you and your board or leadership team will come away from this training experience better equipped to serve and lead your church as workers in God’s harvest fields.

E4H can also be taken as a three-hour credit course from Providence Seminary. Contact Providence for more information.

In this training experience you will explore questions like:

  • What is the church? (What is your church?)
  • What are your church’s building blocks? (What needs to be in place for health and growth?)
  • What direction is your church going and who’s driving?
  • How do church planting and the Great Commission in Scripture work in your church?
  • What does a lead church planter look like?
  • How can every church help reach and reap God’s Harvest through church planting?
  • How do you develop a plan for planting from dream to launch?
