EFCC Sunday

Welcome to EFCC Sunday!

One Sunday every year we invite you to reflect on the larger family you’re a part of in Canada, and around the world.

EFCC stands for the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, and it includes more than 140 churches in Canada arranged into 5 districts. Through the EFCCM (Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission), our churches support a wide variety of mission projects which employ more than 100 missionaries in about 20 countries.

The EFCCM just launched a new Benevolent Fund, which has already benefited thousands of people in countries that have been hit especially hard with COVID-19 emergency measures (benevolence.efccm.ca).

The hub of many of the EFCC’s operations is Home Office, located on the campus of Trinity Western University (TWU) in Langley, BC. And this is what we want to draw particular focus on today. Over the past several years, Home Office has grown to accommodate our movment’s administrative and finance needs, and we have outgrown our space. We currently have 19 staff sharing 9 offices.

In cooperation with TWU, we have started a building campaign (Building for Growth) that will increase our current capacity, and give us multi-use facilities that will enable easier in-person connections, and distributed training and connection opportunities.

We started this campaign with a silent phase, where we reached out to key donors privately to see if we could secure enough funds to proceed. We’re happy to report that we have already raised over half of the required $1.3 million it will take.

If you are able, please take a look at this page (fosmark.efcc.ca) and give as you feel led. The pyramid we designed shows us that the goal is possible.

We are so grateful for your support of, and participation in the EFCC!
